The Capri Group

Founded in 1996, the Capri restaurants each give a unique dining experience, with the highest quality food and ingredients giving an authentic taste of Italy.

Capri Group was established in by Paymen Karimi and his family and has now become an established family business across Wakefield. The first restaurant, Capri Horbury, opened in 1996 and following several successful years the company decided to expand. In 2016, Capri at the Vine was opened and 2020 saw further expansion with Capri Mirfield opening in February. More recently in February 2022, Capri at The Container was opened in Leeds.

Keeping the business in the family, Paymen’s son, Dominik, now runs Capri Horbury and the family welcome local residents and visitors to come and taste the fine Italian cuisine that the restaurants have to offer.
